AI execution should be
bound to something.

REA — Runtime Enforcement Architecture — is the governance standard that sits at the binding event of AI execution and makes the authorization decision before anything runs. Every platform we build runs on it.

You can automate any decision. You just have to make sure the decision was made before you automated it.
The Standard

Runtime Enforcement Architecture

REA is not a product. It is the enforcement standard that every G Enterprises platform is built on. It defines what happens at the binding event — the moment AI transitions from output to action.

Built for environments where an AI mistake cannot be called back. Freight corridors. Rail dispatch. Port scheduling. Multimodal coordination. Anywhere the cost of ungoverned execution is measured in money, time, or lives.

Fail-Closed Default Deny

If the governance layer cannot determine that an action is authorized, the action does not run. The system does not fail open and log it later. It stops first and logs why. Default deny is not a setting. It is the architecture.

Deterministic Evaluation

No LLM in the decision path. The enforcement engine evaluates proposed actions against a versioned, hashed policy set using deterministic rule evaluation. Same input, same policy, same verdict. Every time. Provably.

Tamper-Evident Audit Ledger

Every enforcement decision is written to a SHA-256 hash-chained ledger. The record cannot be modified without breaking the chain. Governance that cannot be proven did not happen.

Local Execution

Enforcement decisions are made on the operator's hardware. No cloud dependency. No network requirement. No third-party infrastructure in the enforcement path. Built for field operations, rural deployments, and air-gapped environments.

ALLOW

Action is authorized. Execution proceeds. Event logged.

DENY

Action is blocked at the enforcement layer. Reason logged.

ESCALATE

Action requires operator review before execution proceeds.

THROTTLE

Action is within scope but subject to rate limits.

OVERRIDE

Operator explicitly authorizes an out-of-policy action. Logged with identity and reason.

Implementations

Every platform we build runs on REA.

These are not separate products. They are operator-controlled AI implementations across different verticals, all governed by the same enforcement architecture.

GALE LIVE
Governed Agentic Local Execution

The reference implementation of REA. A desktop-native AI enforcement engine that intercepts proposed AI actions at the binding event, evaluates them against a versioned policy, and produces a tamper-evident audit record. No cloud. No LLM in the decision path. Deterministic. Replayable.

34 years over the road. Four million miles. The same pattern recognition that kept a truck moving safely through every condition is what I apply to AI governance. Tools execute. Operators decide. That is not a slogan. It is the operational reality of every safety-critical environment I have ever worked in.

I build AI governance frameworks and operator-controlled AI tools grounded in the same discipline that governs freight, rail operations, port logistics, aviation, and nuclear operations. The technology is new. The principle is not.
